I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with having fun with my nails. I use the term “my nails” loosely because, while yes, these are my hands, these nails are far from being my own! (Y’all don’t even wanna see my real nails!!! Trust me!)

But there are great options out there, readily available in most drugstores. So, if you’re like me and can’t leave the rest on, once one falls off, DIY nails cost way less in the long run, than getting them done professionally. But that’s not all! They look FAB, and allow you to change things up way more often than gel or acrylics would without totally eating away at your nail underneath (or your wallet). Not to mention, you don’t have to be afraid to try something outrageous because at most it will last you a little over a week, and if it’s only for a night, and you want to ditch the silver sparkles for work on Monday morning, they are easy to remove without the guilt of having spent a bunch of money for nothing.

One last reason I am totally in love with these nails is that, if you’re anything like me, and are always running around, last minute and can never seem to remember to book an appointment for anything until it’s too late, just keep a few packs of these nails in your makeup case and when you suddenly remember that you have you’re supposed to grab drinks in an hour, you can transform your kitchen table into your very own nail studio at the drop of a hat, long after all the real salons have closed their doors for the night!

With all the fun nail polish options available nowadays, getting creative is easy! So go for it! Rock a color you’ve always wanted to try, or experiment with some cool techniques, like water marbling, or textured decals. If you’re on the go, just leave the classic, chic, French manicure that most glue-on nails come with.

Most of all, have fun with your nails and don’t be afraid to do something different! People see your hands about as much as they see your face, right!? So give them something to talk about!
