It’s time for the third, and final instalment of my Point Zero Curvy Mix and Match series!
I’ve taken 5 pieces from the new Point Zero Curvy line, and styled and remixed three looks in three days, one for work, weekend, and of course, today’s look — date night!!!
It’s without question, the most versatile piece in my closet right now, and whether it’s for work, on the weekend, or draped over the shoulders, out on a date, there is so much style packed into this one jacket, that it works with just about every look!
I’ve paired it with two pieces you may also recognize from the last two posts — these awesome, black shimmery pants that I wore in yesterday’s weekend post…
And this gorgeous embellished knit top, which I wore tucked in to my skirt, in Wednesday’s work look!
And while you can wear it zipped all the way down, I just love the sexy little peek-a-boo effect when left unzipped… Not to mention, it shows off the booty while remaining elegant and refined! Umm… #Winning!!!
It can be hard to imagine pieces in your wardrobe being dual, or even triple-purpose sometimes. We get so used to wearing outfits, well — as outfits (if that makes any sense), and we forget that when we have quality garments, with fabulous texture, detail, and bold styling, like the Point Zero Curvy collection, mixing and matching becomes a snap!
This concludes my three part series, but you can shop the Point Zero Curvy line at pointzero.ca or point-zero.com for international customers, as well as in store at retailers such as SexyPlus Clothing, in Mississauga, Ontario.
Some items have not been released yet, so keep your eyes open, and I’ll be sure to post links here, once they are!

When I’m not lounging all day in my PJs on weekends, I’m all about feeling comfy and looking stylish!
In this edition of my Point Zero Curvy series, where I’ve styled three looks, in three days, mixing and matching 5 different pieces from the line, I’m bringing you a weekend look!
Yesterday I brought you the perfect Point Zero Curvy work look, which included a fabulous faux-leather moto jacket, and today I’m showing how it can transition with ease into your casual weekend wardrobe.
I’ve paired it with the most gorgeous, black, shimmery pants, which marry the look of a structured jean with the comfort of of leggings…
And this amazing, slightly sheer, graphic tee, laced delicately with little flecks of sparkle.
I accessorized with cute, nude flats and gold jewelry.
Together, these three PZ Curvy pieces create an essentially monochromatic black-on-black look, but with a touch of colour, while blending three totally different textures for a really interesting, relaxed, yet very chic weekend look!

I’ve been seeing so many other bloggers doing little recaps if their outfit posts at the end of each month, and I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon and start doing them too!
There’s something so satisfying about seeing your favourite styles all grouped together before your eyes, so here are mine:
September was a good month, but I’m looking forward to everything I have in store for October!!! So much to come!!! Stay tuned!!!
When it comes to style, it’s easy to forget the simpler things, sometimes. We get so caught up in designer brands, expensive fabrics, and the latest trends, that we forget the classic basics, like the simple, white cotton tee!
In today’s post, I’m bringing myself, and maybe some of my fellow fashionistas back down to earth, and showing how I’ve incorporated three simple t-shirts into my wardrobe in three very different ways.
My first outfit is the perfect weekend on-the-go look. I’m showing love to my curves by wearing the absolute coolest tee from legalizethunderthighs.com.
When paired with a great pair of jeans, a cute cropped jacket, slip on sneakers and a fab handbag, you can turn any tee into the centrepiece of a chic look that will keep you feeling stylish whether you’re at the playground with the kiddos or out shopping with the girls.
In my next look, I’m wearing a plain, white men’s T-shirt from Walmart, but I’ve styled it in a way that could work for anything from the office, to a dinner/movie date. Paired with a classic, wide leg trouser from Addition Elle (technically a straight leg, but for me the cut more resembles a wide leg), a gorgeous, textured blazer – belted, a bold handbag and the perfect nude heels, this look is proof that you can take an ordinary men’s tee to extraordinary, with nothing but a few great accessories!
Last, but not least, I’m paying homage to the place where I was born and raised, the city that I love – Montreal, with my fave tee of all time, which I just happened upon at a Canada Post outlet a while back, while picking up a parcel. Glam up any T-shirt with with a fabulous skirt, like this faux leather one from Addition Elle, an edgy chain necklace, like this one from Forever 21, and a great pair of black boots, like these Addition Elle, ruched beauties, for a rocker-chic look that will definitely give new life to an otherwise simple silhouette.
For me, the perfect tee will never go out if style – they’re inexpensive, and the styling possibilities are limitless! So the next time you walk through the men’s section at your local department store, or your significant other is throwing away his old T-shirt collection, remember not to write off the possibility of scoring one of the most versatile options you could ever add to your wardrobe!

Out of their summer slumbers come the cable knits, the quilting, the tweeds and flannels, but the most exciting fall textures this hear have to be the leathers and the faux furs!
How exciting it was to finally see this Michel Studio faux fur vest in store at Addition Elle!!! I had been lusting for it ever since I spotted it in one of this fall’s video promos, and I snapped it up immediately!
I paired it with another one of Addition Elle’s gorgeous decadent, fall pieces – their Love & Legend, black pleather skirt, to really indulge my textural desires.
I opted for a risqué, strappy lace bra from Hips & Curves underneath to add yet another layer to the mix, a sexy pair of laser cut peep toes, gold bangles, dangly earrings, and my fabulous vintage clutch, for an edgy, texture-rich look that will definitely turns up the heat for fall!!!
A new attitude has come over me lately… I don’t know if it’s my new haircut, or if I’ve just finally realized how strong a woman I actually am… Maybe it’s a combination of the two; but one thing is for sure – I’m living my life my way and I’m doing it like a boss.
As women, (especially fat women) we’re constantly questioning ourselves. Can I do this? Is she better than me? What if he doesn’t like me? Am I pretty enough? Do these jeans make me look fat? Will they laugh at me? What if I fail? And the reality is, life is some really scary sh*t – but most of us are doing just fine.
We try so hard, only to worry that we haven’t tried hard enough, and sometimes we just need to take a step back and realize that we’re doing a damn good job at this whole existence thing!!!
When it all comes down to it, you don’t have to answer to any single mortal being in this world but yourself. You are your rule maker, your rule breaker and nobody can tell you how you should feel, so own it! Allow yourself to be proud that you’ve made it this far!
Be the boss b*tch you were born to be!!!
In honour of my recent attitude adjustment, I’m wearing a dope crop top from Rebdolls (formerly Custom Plus), paired with a textured skirt from Penningtons, a little bling from Forever 21, and this fab, cropped sweatshirt from Addition Elle – the perfect look to express my feelings of empowerment.
Rawr!!! Am I right? Haha…
This on trend, animal print, evening look is perfect for date night! These ultra chic leopard print 7/8 pants by Michel Studio certainly steal the show, and are paired stylishly with a solid black, cold shoulder top with gold detail, cognac colored, studded pleather jacket, black & gold leopard head skinny belt, double cross necklace and of course, red flats for a sassy splash of comfortable color. A perfect ensemble for dinner and a movie or for dancing the night away! My hubby DEFINITELY approves!!!
